MANAGER Carl Heeley insists Worcester City won't dwell on their defeat against Telford United in their bid to climb the Skrill North table.

The Blue and Whites were beaten 1-0 by the Bucks at Aggborough on Tuesday despite being in the ascendancy during the second period.

But City have still won five of their last seven matches and head to Gainsborough Trinity tomorrow (3pm) looking for a return to winning ways.

With Gainsborough sitting just one point below Worcester in the table, and with two games in hand, the Northolme clash carries extra significance in the context of City's season.

Trinity have failed to win any of their last three league games and have not played since February 8 following postponements at Guiseley and Bradford Park Avenue.

But Heeley is not concerned with the teams' close proximity in the league and believes his side have what it takes to bounce back.

"Whether we are playing the top teams or those around us, we are capable of beating anyone and we have proved that time and again," he said.

"It's another tough game, they don't get easier, so we have got to concentrate on what we have been doing and be difficult to break down.

"We can't let a defeat like Telford knock us back because we have been excellent so we have got to dust ourselves down and go on another run and respond like we did after the Vauxhall Motors defeat."

Centre-half Richard Munday is City's only concern ahead of the Gainsborough trip after suffering a hand injury against Telford.

Munday was back in the side following Jamie Grimes' recall by Kidderminster Harriers and Heeley will be hoping he is fit to line up alongside Graham Hutchison.

Otherwise, Worcester have a clean bill of health and boss Heeley is likely to keep faith with the same team rather than make changes.

That means new striker Aaron Farrell, who played the last six minutes against Telford, would again be among the substitutes.

Eleven-goal top marksman Ethan Moore and Daniel Nti will also be looking to rediscover their scoring touch having not hit the target since against Solihull Moors and Altrincham respectively.
