WORCESTER City have their sights set on yet more fresh blood as they seek to strengthen for the season run-in.
Centre-half Wayne Thomas and keeper Ryan Boot both joined the club until the end of the season last week, the latter on loan from Port Vale.
But manager Carl Heeley, who has also signed midfielder Aaron Brown and striker Kristian Ramsey-Dickson since the turn of the year, has at least one more target on the radar.
He said: “There’s two or three irons in the fire that could potentially come off and if they do that will boost the numbers for how we would like to be for the run-in.
"If we can continue to strengthen the squad we’ll do it.”
Boot's arrival, following a knee injury to Jose Veiga, has seen former Forest Green Rovers keeper Matt Bulman, who joined the club last month, leave without playing a game.
City, who visit Barrow on Saturday, still have youth-team keeper Sam Hawker registered as emergency back-up.
Meanwhile, Worcester's Skrill North rivals Vauxhall Motors will resign from the Football Conference at the end of the season.
The Ellesmere Port club say their position in non-league's second tier is no longer viable due to low gates and increasing costs.
The Motormen are currently 15th in the table, one place and one point above City.
