NATHAN Vaughan reckons there is an air of invincibility surrounding Worcester City at the moment.

However, the keeper has warned his team-mates about being complacent in the run-up to the Scunthorpe United FA Cup clash.

Last Saturday's 3-0 Conference North victory at Harrogate Town extended City's unbeaten run to 11 games.

Daniel Nti and Sean Geddes scored the goals but Vaughan was a key factor in the success with several timely saves when the game was goalless.

He said: "We just feel like we can't be beaten at the moment if I'm being honest but football is one of those games that if you take your foot off the pedal you can get kicked up the backside.

"The management keep trying to keep our feet firmly on the floor so long may it continue."

The former Kidderminster Harriers player added: "We rode our luck at times in the first-half but then we got some chances in the second-half and took them well so we're happy with the three points.

"It's nice to chip in as a keeper, make a few saves, keep a clean sheet and contribute to the win."

Centre-half Jacob Rowe was replaced as a precaution against Harrogate after suffering a recurrence of tendonitis in his knee.
