Worcester 4-3-2-1 5 Vaughan – Will be disappointed he didn’t get more on his punched clearance which led to the first Curzon goal. Failed to keep out Wright’s late equaliser.

8 Nash – Barely put a foot wrong in defence and showed great vision to set up Hughes’ opening goal.

6 Gudger – Strong aerial presence throughout but some anxious moments in defence.

7 Morris – Strong in the challenge and produced some timely interventions.

7 Sharpe – Continued from where he left off against Stockport with another impenetrable defensive performance.

5 Elvins – Huffed and puffed without being able to get a foothold in the game.

8 Nti – His pace was a thorn in the visitors’ side. Produced an inch-perfect cross for Hughes’ second.

6 Deeney – Put in another workmanlike shift for his team but the City captain was on the fringes of the game during the first-half.

9 Hughes – Took both his goals with the predatory instinct that has typified his career.

6 Geddes – Buzzed around but largely ineffective.

6 Jackman – Started brightly and showed some nice touches and a willingness to get on the ball, but his influence waned.
