Worcester (4-2-3-1)
6 Vaughan – Back in the side after missing last couple of games. Not a lot to do other than a handful of straightforward saves.
6 Minihan – Tough test for the right-back against Telford’s best player, on-loan Burton Albion winger Sam Austin.
5 Weir – Had trouble breathing for much of the first half and was replaced at the break. Grateful for Ashley Vincent’s help at times.
8 Gudger – Yet another excellent display at the heart of defence. Great in the air and skilful on the deck. Lost a few aeriel duels with Telford’s Dave Hibbert.
6 Sharpe – Hindered by a head injury in the first half and was another to be replaced at the break.
9 JACKMAN – Star turn mostly for his excellent first half in the middle of the park. Switched to left-back in the second period and was just as assured.
7 Nti – A quieter game by his high standards. Whipped in a few inviting crosses but gained little reward for his efforts.
7 Deeney – Took a while to get going but was purring by the end of the game and scored a glorious free-kick as well.
6 Hughes – Having missed the last few games, the former Baggies hot-shot looked a little out-of-sorts.
5 Geddes – Below-par display from another player making his comeback. Off the pace and passing too often astray.
8 Vincent – Probably his best game in a City shirt. Excellent work-rate throughout, making some vital interceptions and proving a willing defender.
