City (4-2-3-1)
7 Vaughan – a welcome return for the experienced stopper, who made a flying save late on to secure the clean sheet.
7 Minihan – didn’t quite have the same spark going forward as in previous performances but was part of a resilient back four.
7 Thomas – after a couple of early errors, the centre-back did a fine job keeping powerful striker Tom Denton quiet.
8 Sharpe – was an absolute rock at the heart of the defence as he made countless blocks, tackles and headers.
7 Gudger – looks more comfortable at centre-half than at left-back but still kept a tight rein on North Ferriby’s wingers.
8 DONNELLAN – passed confidently, showed tenacity in the tackle, had high energy throughout and bagged a brace. My man of the match.
7 Jackman – was not as effective as his midfield partner but his influence as skipper appears to be doing the trick for City.
7 Nti – came to life in the second half and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet as his effort struck the post.
7 Gater – showed touches of class at times and was involved in some good moves which should have resulted in more goals.
8 Murphy – looks set to be a real asset for Worcester as the Walsall loanee ran rings around defenders and played a part in both goals.
6 Bakayoko – was a real handful for defenders and linked up play but his finishing continues to let him down.
