WORCESTER City will have the chance to bolster their trophy cabinet when a number of their youth teams compete for silverware.

Tomorrow will see City’s under-13s take on Birmingham City (11am) and their under-15s tackle Hereford FC (1pm) in the Junior Premier League Cup finals at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Worcester are also going for glory in the WFA County Cup finals, with their under-14s facing West Hagley Juniors at Bewdley Town on Wednesday (7.30pm).

City’s under-15s will then meet Westbury Celtic Tigers at Bewdley on Thursday (7pm).

Worcester’s youth director Mark Wilcox said: “It's a brilliant achievement for them to have got where they are.

“The squads have had brilliant seasons, beating teams from all over the region to reach the cup finals.

“Finals are the games players look forward to the most, so we wish them all the best on the day."
