WORCESTER City will get the chance to test out their new temporary home tonight when they host Romulus FC (7.30pm).
The Blue and Whites have yet to play at the Victoria Ground since securing a ground-share agreement with Bromsgrove Sporting in March for the upcoming campaign.
Work has been carried out at the ground this summer, meaning City have had to move their home pre-season games to Stourport Swifts.
But with less than a two weeks to go before they host Harrogate Town in their Vanarama National League North season opener, Worcester have given themselves an opportunity to settle into their new surroundings.
Evo Stik Premier Division One South Romulus are City’s opponents and Heeley will be hoping to see a performance similar to what his side produced against Sutton Coldfield last Friday.
After being knocked out of the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup by Redditch earlier in the week, Worcester hit back with a 2-0 victory at Coles Lane thanks to a late brace from Lee Hughes.
