Worcester City (4-4-2)
7 Boot – making his debut, the on-loan keeper was rarely tested but commanded his area well and made a good save late on.
7 Gallinagh – did not give much away down his flank and his last-ditch interception at the near post denied Liam Dickinson an almost certain goal.
6 Hutchison – was solid in defence and his long ball led to City’s first goal but was sent off following two yellow cards.
7 Sharpe – after a sketchy start to the season, the centre-back returned to his reliable best with an assured performance.
7 Weir – a good shift from the full-back, who defended resiliently and got forward well in the second half.
8 STEELE – caused Avenue all sorts of problems with his trickery on the ball and capped off his stellar showing by scoring City’s third.
7 Jackman – a solid display from the skipper, who showed off his full range of passing and won plenty of 50/50 challenges.
8 Nelson-Addy – bossed the centre of the park as he was both strong in the tackle and confident in possession.
8 Keane – scored a stunning free-kick and could have had a couple of assists but for the assistant referee ruling out Lee Hughes’ efforts for offside.
6 Bishop – it was not the striker’s day as he put his best chance into the side-netting but refused to let his head drop.
8 Hughes – demonstrated his class with an exquisite first touch for his goal and then a superb cross for Chekaine Steele to make it 3-0.
