Worcester City (4-4-2):

7 Boot – made light work of Alty’s efforts on goal and comfortably gathered crosses. His distribution also kept his side on the front foot.

7 Gallinagh – a tidy performance from City’s stand-in skipper who often found himself in the right place to cut out deliveries into the box.

6 Hutchison – suffered a bang to the head on 17 minutes and was replaced by Tom Sharpe who did a fine job in his absence.

8 Oji – appears to be oozing with confidence as he never looked flustered, kept a cool-head throughout and made a brave block to deny Sean Miller – Altrincham’s best chance.

7 Weir – after the thrill of the birth of his first child, it was back to business for the full-back who put in a committed performance.

6 Steele – often got into good positions with his neat footwork, but lacked a final ball and his finishing was disappointing.

7 English – back into the starting line-up, the 31-year-old stuck to his task superbly, making several strong challenges.

8 Nelson-Addy – with Alty down to 10 men, the midfielder bossed the centre of the park with accurate passing and grabbed another goal.

8 Keane – produced a sublime cross for City’s opener, hit the back of the net with a stunning 25-yard drive and worked tirelessly in defence and attack. Our man of the match.

7 Bishop – was at the heart of numerous good moves and his efforts were acknowledged by the City faithful when he was substituted. 7 Hughes – added another goal to his impressive tally and seemed to relish his battle with veteran defender Wayne Thomas.
