Worcester City (4-4-1-1)
8 ROSS – making his first start in more than two months, the keeper seized his opportunity as he pulled off a series of stops, including a stunning late save which proved crucial.
7 Gallinagh – presented Telford with an early opportunity when he lost the ball but defended resiliently throughout.
8 Hutchison – one of his most assured performances for City as he dealt with whatever Telford threw at him, winning almost every header.
8 Oji – could have easily been my pick for man of the match again as he was a rock at the heart of the defence.
7 Weir – made a couple of forays forward but it was his defensive efforts along with Cieron Keane on the left which frustrated the visitors.
7 C Hughes – a strong debut from the winger who created City’s opener and looked a real threat, especially in the first half.
6 English – cannot question his bravery but he was poor on the ball and gave away several free-kicks in dangerous position.
6 Nelson-Addy – made a powerful run which almost resulted in a goal but, like his midfield partner, he was wasteful in possession and conceded silly fouls.
7 Keane – put in an impressive shift and his tireless efforts were rewarded with an assist as his long ball found Colby Bishop who netted the winner.
6 Murphy - back in the starting line-up, the forward was keen to make his mark but his contribution was all too fleeting.
7 L Hughes – produced a moment of brilliance to give City the lead with a cheeky backheel before heading Ben Bailey’s effort off the line.
