Worcester City (4-5-1)
6 Ross – made amends for his clumsy mistake which gave Alfreton a penalty with a brilliant save to thwart Craig Westcarr from the spot.
6 Hutchison – making a rare outing at right-back, the defender took time to settle as Alfreton attacked down his wing but did not shy away from the task.
7 Oji – a welcome return for the experienced centre-back who showed great leadership, making several brave blocks and headers.
6 J Keane – has been a revelation at centre-back. He did not hit the heights of recent stand-out showings but helped City keep a clean sheet.
7 Weir – a strong display from the full-back who was determined in defence and pushed forward when he had the chance.
5 Murphy – returning to the side, the winger had a couple of shots blocked but failed to do enough to pierce Alfreton’s usually leaky defence.
6 English – showed no sign of the head injury he suffered in training as he put himself about the pitch, using his physicality to good effect.
7 NELSON-ADDY – a much-improved performance from the midfielder who stuck to his task defensively and looked composed on the ball. My man of the match.
6 Digie – pushed further forward in the second half as City looked to break Alfreton’s resilience but struggled to make an impact.
5 C Keane – plugged away down the left but he let his frustration get the better of him as he received two yellow cards late on.
6 Bishop – was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet when his header appeared to go over the line before Niall Heaton hacked it clear.
