Worcester City (3-5-2).

6 Ross – responded well when his handling was tested, but a breakdown in communication with his defenders allowed Matty Kosylo to open the scoring.

6 Oji – looked in command before the towering Tom Denton came off the bench and started to win the aerial battles.

7 Sharpe – showed no signs of the knee injury which kept him out for two months as he was brave in the tackle and composed on the ball.

6 J Keane – had a decent game, but was arguably at fault for Halifax’s first goal as he should have cleared his lines instead of waiting for Ross to gather.

5 Weir – let his emotions get the better of him as he dispatched a penalty before picking up a second yellow card for wrestling the ball off the goalkeeper.

6 Jackman – making his first appearance since Boxing Day, the midfielder gave City leadership but made a few uncharacteristic mistakes.

7 English – put in a determined 90-minute shift as he covered plenty of ground and provided some steel in Worcester’s midfield.

6 Rose – after an edgy start, the debutant, who is on a youth loan from Rotherham, showed promise with some good passing and movement.

6 C Keane – not one of his best performances for City, but went close in the first half with a sliced effort and gave his all.

7 Nelson-Addy – making a rare outing up front, the 24-year-old was a real livewire in attack and did not forget his defensive duties either.

7 MURPHY – was a bright spark, especially in the first half as he produced several nice touches and ran his socks off all afternoon. My man of the match.
