WORCESTER City have signed local winger James Baldwin for their Midland League Premier Division campaign.
The 20-year-old from Fernhill Heath went to Worcester's Blessed Edward Oldcorne College and has been playing for Lye Town, Westfields and Bishops Cleeve.
Baldwin made 37 appearances for mid-table Southern League Division One South and West side Cleeve last season, including 12 substitute appearances, and scored five goals.
City joint manager John Snape said: "James is a quick and tricky winger who can play on either side and has the potential to excite the City fans with his play.
"He is going to be a real asset to the club this season."
Baldwin said: "Being a Worcester lad it's great the management are giving opportunities to young, local players like myself and I can't wait to get started."
