WORCESTER City’s pre-season clash against local rivals Kidderminster Harriers has been cancelled.

However, joint bosses Lee Hughes and John Snape have acted quickly in arranging a home friendly with Sutton Coldfield on Tuesday (7.45pm).

City had previously scheduled a match at Sutton before replacing it with an attractive tie against Harriers at Bromsgrove’s Victoria Ground.

But with Kidderminster set to face Evesham United in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup final which takes place on the same day, manager John Eustace felt he was unable to field to field a side to take on City and then Birmingham City on Wednesday night.
