DEFENDER Tom Fishwick has left Worcester City to return to former club and Midland League Premier Division leaders Coleshill Town.
Worcester City: Three keepers on radar – including Nathan Vaughan
The 21-year-old centre-half was snapped up in the summer having played an influential role as the Colemen reached the semi-final of the FA Vase and finished runners-up in the league.
Fishwick started seven of City’s 14 league matches but a minor injury and a trip to America for a family wedding did not help his cause for regular starts.
“Tom has decided to leave,” said joint-boss Snape. “He was quite transparent about it, he wanted more opportunities to play and felt he would get that at Coleshill.
“It came as a surprise and we will be looking to bring in someone in the near future.
"I cannot knock Tom, though, he was up front about it and has been a smashing lad and a good character to have at the club from day one. We are sorry to see him go.”
