WORCESTER City have missed out on a mouth-watering clash with Midland League leaders Coleshill Town in the FA Vase.

City were ousted by league rivals Highgate United on Saturday who were today paired with last season’s semi-finalists in the third round proper.

Stourport Swifts have been drawn at home to Midland One big guns Walsall Wood, while Bromsgrove Sporting, who also went within one stage of Wembley last term, entertain Coventry United.

Westfields hit the road for a lengthy trip to Plymouth Parkway, the team that leads the South West Peninsula League, one level below the Hereford-based outfit.

Ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, December 2 with £1,125 in prize money up for grabs.

Higher up the food chain, Kidderminster Harriers face a trek to National North adversaries Boston United in the FA Trophy third qualifying round.

Should Hereford win their replay at Potters Bar Town tomorrow (7.45), the Bulls will travel to Oxford City of the National South with ties set to take place on the weekend of Saturday, November 25.
