WORCESTER City has announced an extended ground share arrangement at Bromsgrove Sporting.

As reported by the Worcester News on Tuesday, City will spend next season at the Victoria Ground with the option for another year on top.

A statement released this evening read: "The board(s) of directors of Worcester City Football Club and Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club are pleased to announce that after amicable negotiations, an agreement has been reached for Worcester City to groundshare with Bromsgrove Sporting for next season with an option for a further year if so required.

"Worcester City are of the opinion that this arrangement has been a success and that under the circumstances remains the best option for both first-team football and their fans in terms of playing surface, overall facilities and match-day experience and are grateful to Bromsgrove Sporting for their continued support.

"Bromsgrove Sporting are also pleased with the arrangement and are looking forward to hosting their Worcestershire rivals for another season."
