JADYN MUNDLE 6

Could not have been expected to do much with either goal. A solid debut without having much to do.

RILEY KEASEY 7

Another good display, fits into the backline well and looks accomplished. Looks the most likely of the under-21 prospects to make his step up permanent.

ETHAN MORAN 6

Bright start, caused plenty of problems out wide until South Normanton got a grip on things. Got stifled from there but showed promise. Substituted at half-time.

JORDAN STODDART 7

Had bits to deal with and did so with a minimum of fuss. Generally there to recover from any slips that occurred across the board.

MARK SMITH 6

Close to a leveller at the death. Like Stoddart, dealt with most things in composed fashion.

NATHAN HAYWARD 7

Industrious. Played through the pain barrier having been a doubt with a knee problem but that rarely showed.

GEORGE FORSYTH 6

Switched position at half-time, worked hard as ever.

STAR MAN - BRAD BIRCH 7

Returned from Stourbridge for what could be one last hurrah and the difference he makes was visible. Got around well without quite mustering that moment of quality in the final third.

BEN ROBINSON 5

Tried but did not play with confidence or make the ball stick often enough. Withdrawn at half-time.

JAMES BALDWIN 5

Plenty of running without having enough purpose about his play.

ALEX TOMKINSON 6

Roamed into different areas, perhaps too much for his own good, and worked hard without finding his fluent best. Offered more than most going forward, though.
