HOTSHOT Dave Reynolds is the fifth player to agree to stay at Worcester City next season.
Last season's 30-goal top scorer is the second striker to commit today after fellow frontrunner Nick Turton pledged his allegiance.
Reynolds signed from Malvern Town on the back of hitting the net more than 50 times and soon got among the goals having stepped up.
He played a part in all but two of City’s Midland Football League Premier Division matches in his maiden campaign with 25 of his goals coming in the league.
Reynolds had expressed his desire to stay put following the last match of the season at South Normanton Athletic.
“Hopefully I will be back in a City shirt, scoring a few more goals next season,” he said.
“I have kept out of all of the off-field stuff. I turn up, play football and that’s it. I enjoy playing here and have no reason to leave.”
He joins Jamie Smith, player-coach Mat Birley, Jordan Stoddart and Nick Turton in committing to City.
The poll is open until 5pm on Sunday, May 27.
