WORCESTER boss Carl Heeley insisted there would be no room for sulking at St George’s Lane this week after another late goal denied City a place in the FA Cup first round proper.

For the sixth time this season, City conceded a result-changing goal within the last five minutes as Worcester paid the ultimate price for their profligacy at Bromley.

Heeley, who takes his side to Redditch United in the Worcestershire Senior Cup tomorrow (7.45pm), wants a positive response from his players despite Saturday’s latest crushing blow.

Heeley said: “Matt (Gardiner, assistant manager) and I need to try and find out why we are conceding goals in the last minute because it has got to the point where something is amiss.

“Concentration, fitness, whatever it is, we cannot keep getting into positions where we are by far and away the better side but lose the game. It has cost us dearly this season.

“We’re all devastated but this will spur us on. If it doesn’t then players will be moved on and I’ll get some more in, that’s not a threat, it’s a fact.

“I cannot have sulkers, I want winners around me so anyone who is won’t be sulking for long.”
