WORCESTER'S former England captain Jo Yapp will come out of international retirement to spearhead England's sevens campaign as the team try to qualify for the inaugural IRB Women's Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai in 2009.
Yapp has been named in the squads for the Amsterdam Sevens and the London Emirates Sevens, while Sixways team-mate Gemma Sharples will also play in London.
The Amsterdam competition will take place on the weekend of May 17 and 18.
The London event will then see England play a one-off fixture against the New Zealand Aotearoa Maori sevens team on May 25 at Twickenham.
Meanwhile, a host of Worcester players are set to clash in the Women's Super League final on Sunday at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire (1.45pm) when the Tornadoes battle it out with the Thunder in a title-decider.
Sixways wings Michelle Lloyd and Sam Bree, as well as hooker Sam Dale, will all line up for the Tornadoes, while Laura Keates will be among the replacements.
The Thunder have named Worcester players Pippa Crews and Tracy Balmer on the bench for the final.
The Stormers, who will have Catherine Spencer and Sarah Guest among their replacements, take on Celtic Hurricanes in the third place play-off.
