CREWS from Worcester Rowing Club competed at two popular regattas.
The club's junior squad reached finals at Evesham Regatta but only Bishop Perowne College pupil Amy Jones took medals, winning gold in the girls' 14 single sculls and in the 500-metre sprint.
Worcester's junior 16 double scull of Rosie Pegg and Lucy Hawkins lost out to Evesham and Avon in their finals.
But the duo have been selected to represent the West Midlands at the Junior Inter Regional Championships.
Christian Leatherdale, Hannah Jackson, Liz Jeynes and Jenny Webb also competed.
Worcester's elite squads battled it out at Wallingford Regatta with Claire Crozier and Malin Eriksonn powering to victory in the women's senior two coxless pairs.
They also took the Doug Norris Memorial Trophy in the elite event and hope to row at the prestigious Henley Women's Regatta next month.
The men's coxless four of Gareth Hooper, Dave Gilbert, Steve Hemsworth and Richard Lee finished fifth.
