Spencer to lead nation in Europe

WORCESTER number eight Catherine Spencer will captain the England women's team in this weekend's FIRA AER European Championship in Amsterdam.
Spencer's Sixways team-mates Samantha Dale and Katherine Merchant have also been named in head coach Gary Street's 26-player squad.
The tournament kicks-off on Saturday when England, seeded in group A', take on Sweden.
If England are successful, they will play in the semi-finals on May 20 with the final taking place on May 24.
The European Championships will see 14 teams from across the continent compete for the coveted crown.
