KIDDERMINSTER Harriers want to make Dean Bennett and Darryl Knights permanent additions to their squad for next season.
The pair enjoyed successful loan spells at Aggborough during the last campaign as Harriers finished 13th in the Blue Square Premier.
Bennett and Knights have since been released by Chester and Yeovil and are looking for new clubs.
Midfielder Bennett made 33 starts for Mark Yates' side in two seperate loan spells, while striker Knights scored four goals in 17 appearances, inclu-ding two against Burton.
Harriers assistant manager Neil Howarth said: "We would like to keep both players and are still in regular contact.
"It's just a case of coming to an agreement that suits everybody."
Midfielder Andy Ferrell is also set to give the club a boost by signing a new contract in the next few days.
Howarth added: "We are quietly confident we will be able to keep the players we have made offers to."
