WORCESTER Wolves go into their British Basketball League clash at Guildford Heat tomorrow (3pm) with four straight wins under their belts, prior to tonight's match with Everton Tigers.

Guildford coach Paul James is expecting a tough game against the team that they knocked out of the BBL Trophy at the semi-final stage.

"We have to think that they are favourites to make the play-offs now, whether it's in seventh or eighth place. They have had some really good results recently including a great win against Scottish Rocks last week.

"We've played Wolves twice and had two tough games against them. We're going to have to work hard to shut down James Life and Anthony Paez. They are both really good scorers - we have a lot of respect for them."

Having beaten Wolves in all four BBL Championship meetings last season, Heat continued that run when the teams met at the University of Worcester in December, running out 108-89 winners.

Wolves' coach Skouson Harker is therefore expecting one of their hardest games of the season at The Spectrum.

"It's a tough one for us to go there the day after we play Everton, but at least they are playing tonight as well.

"I watched Guildford win the Trophy last week and they are playing some great team basketball with some excellent defence.

"It's a serious ask for us to win. We need to compete and hope we are in it at the end. I'd be happy with that.

"I know he wasn't a factor in the final, but Tony Dorsey is their key man. They get the ball inside to him, and if he has a big night, so do they.

"They have a really deep bench with five or six guys who can score double figures on you. We've got to go there again before the end of the season and I think they will be our toughest games."
