POINT guard Sherrad Prezzie-Blue could be back in the Worcester Wolves ranks for tomorrow night’s trip to Manchester Giants (7.30pm).

The American missed last Friday’s 97-91 British Basketball League defeat to Surrey Heat with a knee injury but has returned to training.

Carlos Fernandez proved an able deputy against the Heat, scoring 18 points, but head coach Paul James is hoping Prezzie-Blue is back.

“We are hoping that he’s going to play some part in the game,” he said. “He’s been back training this week and we’ll see how his knee responds to that.

“Against Surrey you could see how important he is to us and, even though we did a great job in giving ourselves a chance to win, Surrey had that leader with the ball in his hands which hurt us.”

Sixth-placed Wolves are seeking to complete the double over the Giants following a 92-80 victory at the University of Worcester.

* Wolves will play twice at home in 24 hours later this month after rearranging the match against London Lions for Saturday, February 16 (7pm), the day after they host Mersey Tigers (7.30pm).
