HEAD coach Paul James is considering strengthening his Worcester Wolves squad before the transfer deadline at the end of this month.
Wolves travel to Cheshire Phoenix tomorrow (5.30pm) for another important match in their British Basketball League Championship title bid.
“The deadline to sign players is the end of February so we may be looking to make a move — I am not sure at the moment,” said James.
“I’m happy with the squad we’ve got. We have the potential but if you don’t use that potential it’s worth nothing.”
Wolves recorded a 83-67 home league win against Cheshire in October but suffered a 97-86 defeat when the sides met in December, James said: “The last time we travelled to Cheshire wasn’t a good experience.
“Before we knew it we were 20 points down. They are a team who have made lots of changes during the season and they have finally settled and are a solid unit.”
He added: “We have to play for 40 minutes to give ourselves a chance of winning.”
