WORCESTER Wolves ended 2015 on a high note with a 79-75 win over bogey side London Lions in the British Basketball League.
Paul James’ side held a 57-56 lead going into the final quarter and managed to stretch their advantage by another three points.
Wolves had led 34-33 at half-time in a close encounter at the University of Worcester Arena.
Javier Mugica top scored with 20 points for Wolves and claimed 17 rebounds, while Lions fielded Worcester old boys Alex Owumi and Jamal and Kai Williams.
Pavol Losonsky added 16 points.
