HEAD coach Paul James is hopeful of adding a new face to his Worcester Wolves squad before Christmas.

Wolves are aiming to sign a player who can help them “at both ends of the floor” as they bid to climb the British Basketball League table.

James said he was quite excited by two or three players who could potentially fill the final spot in his roster.

“Hopefully, we will have somebody in before Christmas,” he said.

“We will continue to focus on what we have got here but if somebody does come on board then we will deal with that then.”

James added: “There are two or three options out there we are looking at now but it is about getting the right person who is going to help us at both ends of the floor.

“We are quite excited about that and where we are right now.

“There is an opportunity to move forward, so we just want to put our house in order properly and then we can make a good run at it.”
