WORCESTER Wolves may have crashed to a 106-79 defeat at reigning champions Guildford Heat in the British Basketball League last night but it was a performance to be proud of.
With Chuck Evans and Anthony Paez, who was the Wolves top scorer with 21 points, playing through the pain barrier and Ivan Brosko still not fully fit, director of basketball Mick Donovan was a reasonably satisfied man.
"Considering the injuries that we have had it was a decent performance," he said.
Player-coach Skouson Harker and Shaun Durant also chipped in with 18 points apiece against the Heat.
