AMERICAN centre Robert Thurman has been named in the British Basketball League team of the week for the second week running.

The Worcester Wolves star's double-double of 14 rebounds and 22 points in last Friday's 83-67 victory over Cheshire Phoenix was the best performance of any player at the weekend.

Although Wolves went down 93-83 at Manchester Giants on Sunday, Thurman's efforts were enough to make him the only player to be retained in the select side.

He is joined in the quintet by former Wolves player David Watts, who inspired Manchester to success over Worcester, Drew Lasker of Newcastle Eagles, Sheffield Sharks' BJ Holmes and Kramer Knutson from Surrey United.

Wolves team-mate Chavis Holmes is one of seven players on the team-of-the-week bench.
