CHAVIS Holmes has been rewarded for his fine Worcester Wolves form with a place in the British Basketball League team of the week.

The point guard earned his second selection of the season after 25 points in the 79-65 victory over Bristol Flyers at the University Arena.

Holmes had nine rebounds, grabbed seven steals and supplied six assists to lead his side to victory.

The American also registered 24 points and eight rebounds as Worcester lost 99-96 at Glasgow Rocks.

Wolves’ Robert Thurman is one of seven players on the select team’s bench.

Worcester now host Manchester Giants on Friday, December 12, instead of Sheffield Sharks due to the latter’s cup commitments.

The Sharks match at the arena has been moved to Friday, February 20.
