WORCESTER Wolves extended their winning run to 11 games after a 93-87 success at Plymouth Raiders in the British Basketball League.

Trevor Setty top scored with 23 points against his former side with Trey Zeigler adding 18 off the bench. Wolves were still without Maurice Walker.

The game got off to a high-scoring start, but the final six points went to the visitors as they moved ahead at the end of the first quarter.

Wolves continued to build on their lead in the second and opened up a nine-point cushion by half-time before pushing on to a 67-52 cushion in the third.

Raiders cut the deficit to 10 points heading into the last quarter before closing to within four at the mid-point of the fourth quarter.

However, Wolves held firm and were able to close out the win to move above Glasgow Rocks in the table.

Paul James’ side started their streak with victory in their BBL Trophy semi-final second leg against Raiders.
