WARRIORS make five changes to their starting line-up as they face London Wasps in the LV= Cup at Adams Park on Sunday (3pm).

Assistant head coach Nigel Redman makes four changes in the pack with a new-look front row of Ceri Jones, Ollie Hayes and Rob O’Donnell, who makes his first start for Warriors since a summer move from Rotherham Titans.

Craig Gillies is named in the second row alongside captain Dean Schofield, while Errie Claassens is the only change to the back division, returning at full back.

Worcester opened the cup competition with a bonus point win over Scarlets at Sixways last weekend to top the pool two standings after the opening round of games.

Redman said: “We made a good start last week against Scarlets and we would like to continue that momentum in this competition and going back into the Aviva Premiership.

“The way the competition is spread through the season, we play Wasps on Sunday and then don’t play another LV= Cup game till the New Year so we want to secure a second win to stay at the top of the group.

“We’re treating every game as a game to improve and that’s what we’ll aim to do again – improve on what we’ve done already this year.”
