WING Tom Biggs has picked up Worcester Warriors’ player-of-the-month award for October.
Biggs played a starring role for Warriors in their opening-day victory over Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership and also excelled against Sale Sharks and Gloucester.
But the former England player was taken off with a head injury in the second half at Kingsholm and missed the win against Newcastle Falcons at Sixways.
He picked up 38 per cent of the votes in an online poll ahead of Phil Dowson with 29 and Niall Annett with 13.
Biggs is in his second season at Worcester and has racked up an impressive 14 tries in 28 appearances.
