A WORCESTER Warriors development side will play two pre-season fixtures on the new artificial surface at Sixways next month.

They will meet Bristol on Thursday, August 18 (7.30pm) and Colwyn Bay's RGC 1404 (kick-off time to be confirmed) on Wednesday, August 24.

Both matches are free of charge for supporters who will be able to watch the latest crop of young Warriors in their first home outings of the 2016/17 campaign.

Carl Hogg's side embark on a high-altitude training camp in Tignes, France, at the start of August before taking on European giants Clermont Auvergne on Friday, August 12.

Warriors travel to the Channel Islands to face Jersey on Saturday, August 20 and their final warm-up match is in Ireland against Munster on Friday, August 26.

Warriors' Aviva Premiership campaign gets under way on Saturday, September 3 with a trip to Twickenham to face star-studded champions Saracens.
