EAGER fans of Worcester Warriors have been told to expect a “totally different” kit to last season ahead of tomorrow’s launch.

Warriors are set to unveil their home and away strips for the upcoming 2016/2017 Aviva Premiership campaign in the morning.

After finishing with Kooga, which had supplied Worcester’s kit since 2012, the Sixways club agreed a deal with Under Armour in April.

The US-based company will be designing Warriors’ jerseys for the next three years and chief executive Jim O’Toole says they have done a “cracking job”.

Over the last seven days, the club have been teasing fans with images of the new home jersey on social media.

And O’Toole says he is looking forward to releasing the kit, which he describes as a “thing of beauty”.

“Under Armour are a very exciting company to work with as they do some really creative stuff and I think they have done a cracking job,” he said.

“It will not be blue and blue hoops - it’s a totally different shirt to last year - and I think it’s a really nice design and a thing of beauty.”

O’Toole said the release of the new strip was part of an “exciting” week for the club with the artificial pitch set to be completed on Friday and new recruit Ben Te’o’s expected to arrive in the coming days.

The 29-year-old has been enjoying a four-week break after the rigours of England duty and a successful campaign in the Guinness Pro 12 with Irish outfit Leinster.

And O’Toole confirmed the powerful centre joins up with his Warriors teammates next week.
