BEN Te'o is set for his Warriors bow in today's pre-season clash against Jersey Reds at St Peter (2.30pm).

The powerful back starts alongside fellow new boy and centre Jackson Willison in an exciting Warriors back-line.

Scrum-half Jonny Arr returns from a lengthy injury lay-off to form the half-back combination with Tom Heathcote, while Cooper Vuna and Andy Short start on the wings.

Ben Howard keeps his place at full-back off the back of his last-minute try against European giants Clermont Auvergne last week.

In the pack, there is a welcome return for the giant Christian Scotland-Williamson in the second row, who makes his return to action after almost two years on the sidelines.

The 23-year-old last featured against Moseley in September 2014 and will start next to Fijian lock Tevita Cavubati.

The experienced Phil Dowson leads the side from the back row alongside Alafoti Faosiliva and Carl Kirwan, while Na'ama Leleimalefaga, Jaba Bregvadze and James Johnston occupy the front row.

GJ van Velze is named on the bench and is just one of five of the Warriors squad who were named in the matchday 22 when they last visited the island back in March 2015.

On that day, Warriors were pipped 23-21 courtesy of a late Aaron Penberthy drop-goal for Jersey in what was just one of two away defeats in the entire 2014-15 season.
