WORCESTER Warriors' Alafoti Fa'osiliva has been handed a one-week ban.
The 30-year-old appeared before an RFU disciplinary panel this evening charged with striking with the arm and/or elbow, contrary to law 10.4(a).
Fa'osiliva pleaded guilty and is free to play again on September 18 so will just miss Saturday's visit to Bath.
The Warriors player was sent off by referee Luke Pearce during last weekend’s Aviva Premiership draw between Worcester and Gloucester for striking Mariano Galarza with his arm and/or elbow.
The incident occurred in the second half of the game and was referred to the TMO for review before the back rower was red carded.
The RFU disciplinary panel comprised of chairman Dan White, John Brennan and Tony Wheat.
