BEN Te’o and Chris Pennell are in Worcester Warriors' starting line-up for tomorrow’s European Challenge Cup clash with Brive at Sixways (3pm).

Pennell will be making his first appearance since May as Warriors look to pick up their first win in the competition this season.

Pennell and Te’o are two of five changes to the side that were narrowly beaten in Moscow last weekend by Enisei-STM.

Tom Heathcote, Andrew Kitchener and Zac Xiourouppa are all handed starting berths to take on the French side.

Dean Hammond and Jamie Shillcock are named in the replacements, as is academy back row Sam Ripper-Smith, who could be set for his Warriors debut if he features from the bench.

Backs Coach Sam Vesty, who is overseeing the Warriors side in Europe, said: “Brive are a very typical French team with big, physical forwards.

“They have some really good players and are a dangerous outfit.

“We want to keep the thread of the team consistent but there will be a few bigger names in the squad every now and then.

“Pennell is looking really sharp and he’s a guy who is so consistent in performance and in training. We look forward to welcoming him back this weekend.

“This competition isn’t just about being a development tool. We want to be winning games.”
