NIALL Annett has been named on the bench for Worcester Cavaliers' Premiership Rugby A League opener against Leicester Tigers at Sixways tonight (7.30pm).

The hooker is battling back to full fitness after sustaining a hamstring injury in pre-season.

He is one of six senior Warriors players named in the 23-man squad with academy graduate Huw Taylor set to captain the team.

Summer signing Tom Howe has been given the nod on the wing with youngsters Nick David and Alex Hearle also part of the back three.  

Gareth Milasinovich, who has been struggling with a hamstring problems, will return to action at loosehead prop, lining up next to hooker Matti Williams and academy tighthead Nick Rigby.

Christian Scotland-Williamson starts in the second row alongside Justin Clegg with Ted Hill and Tom Dodd in the back row.

Worcester have also called upon a number of players from Birmingham Moseley to complete the side.
