NEW Worcester Warriors signing Anton Bresler will make his first appearance for the club on New Year’s Eve.
Worcester Cavaliers travel to Franklin’s Gardens for a Premiership Rugby A League test against Northampton Wanderers on Sunday (1.30pm).
Cavaliers name a strong side which includes 11 first-teamers in the starting line-up as Ben Howard, Tom Howe and Dean Hammond start in a pacey back three.
Max Stelling and Will Butler operate in the centre while Jamie Shillcock starts at fly-half after bagging 15 points in Cavaliers’ remarkable win over an international-studded Newcastle Falcons last time out.
Luke Baldwin plays at scrum-half.
In the pack, Stourbridge’s Stefan Thorp starts alongside Matti Williams and Biyi Alo while debutant Bresler is joined by Pierce Phillips in the second row.
The back row features Ted Hill, Andrew Durutalo and Tom Dodd while Matt Cox returns from a bicep injury and could figure from the replacements bench.
Cavaliers: Howard; Howe, Stelling, Butler, Hammond; Shillcock, Baldwin; Thorp, Williams, Alo, Bresler, Phillips, Hill, Durutalo, Dodd. Replacements: Cutting, Owen, Morris, Kitchener, Cox, Wootten, Lawrence, Haisila Lokotui.
