Warriors.
8 Pennell – set up Adams’ try with a well-weighted grubber kick, was solid under the high ball and converted five of his seven kicks at goal.
7 Adams – continued his hot streak with a well-taken try in the opening five minutes and was always a threat when he got the ball.
7 Willison – his neat offload released Lewis for Warriors’ second try as he saw plenty of the ball and tackled hard as well.
8 Mills – with the inexperienced Olver next to him, the centre showed leadership as he managed the game well, especially in the opening period.
7 Heem – might not be scoring tries but still caused Sarries problems and Farrell felt the full force of the Kiwi flier when he charged through.
6 Olver – a difficult afternoon for the fly-half who was taught a lesson by England star Farrell but will only get better from this experience.
7 Hougaard – his kicking was wayward at times but tackled ferociously and kept Warriors ticking with crisp passing.
7 Waller – held up his end in what was a solid scrum and produced a superb last-ditch tackle to stop Koch going over.
7 Singleton – a decent afternoon from the hooker with Warriors winning all but one of their 18 line-outs and went toe-to-toe with England ace George.
7 Milasinovich – stepping in for Schonert, the young tighthead refused to be overawed by a vastly-experienced pack.
7 O’Callaghan – led his troops brilliantly in the first half and Warriors were only three points behind Sarries when the captain made way for Phillips on 55 minutes.
7 Barry – replacing the injured Spencer, the lock had big shoes to fill but handled himself well, especially defensively.
9 DENTON – another outstanding display from the back rower who did not miss a tackle, carried hard and grabbed a try. My man of the match.
8 Lewis – crossed the whitewash for the first time this season when he got on the end of a stunning move and defended superbly too.
7 van Velze – ended what’s been a turbulent year with a strong showing at Saracens and will be hoping to kick on in 2018.
