WORCESTER Warriors wing Josh Adams has retained his place in Wales’ side for their Six Nations battle with England at Twickenham on Saturday (4.45pm).

The in-form 22-year-old back won his first cap for his country in their 34-7 win over Scotland at the Principality Stadium last weekend and will hope to impress again.

George North has recovered from injury while head coach Warren Gatland revealed Adams had sustained a “slight hip strain”.

But Adams has kept the starting jersey and could go up against Warriors teammate Ben Te’o as the Anglo-Welsh rivalry continues this weekend.

Gatland said: “It’s great to name an unchanged starting 15, the players deserve that for a very good performance on the opening weekend.

“We have made one change on the bench, with George North coming in for Owen (Watkin), which is tough on Owen.

“But Josh (Adams) picked up a slight hip strain last weekend so George provides us with a bit more cover there.

“We know how tough it is going to be against that huge English forward pack. They are really going to test us.

“England have been in great form the last couple of years so we know the challenge we face but we have had a good couple of weeks in camp and we are looking forward to going up to Twickenham.”
