MANAGING director Gus Mackay says all of Worcester Warriors’ home games will be held on Saturdays next season if they are not televised.

Mackay’s statement comes as Warriors prepare to put season tickets on sale for the 2018-19 campaign on Wednesday.

Bosses at the Aviva Premiership outfit came under fire from fans last summer when the fixture list was released as only one three of first 10 home games took place on a Saturday.

And after listening to supporters Mackay says he has agreed to make changes as he looks to get people on board for next season.

“We’ve tried to make our season ticket packages appeal to all audiences for the 2018/19 campaign,” Mackay said.

“We’ve listened to fans and all our games next season will be Saturday 3pm kick-offs, subject to TV picks only, as we aim to support all age ranges and in particular, families.”

The cost of season tickets for adults range from £225 in the standing area - if purchased before Wednesday, June 6 – to £750 in the platinum seats.

Junior season tickets start from £110 while under 12s can watch all of the games for £50 when purchased with a full-price adult or 65 and over season ticket.

A family season ticket including one adult and one junior is available for £310 while there are rates in the blue and bronze seating areas for 65 and over from £215 and young adults aged between 18 and 26 from £185.

The club statement added: “If you have a family member or friend who would like to join you as a season ticket holder then take advantage of our Introduce a friend and save offer.

You can save 25 per cent on your 2018-19 season ticket for every new season ticket holder you introduce who hasn’t been a season ticket holder in 2016-17 or 2017-18.

“If you introduce four friends you will get your 2018-19 season ticket for free.

“If you’re already a season ticket holder you have the option to secure your same seat once again up until 5pm on Wednesday, June 6.

“After this, seats will be released for general sale.”
