FLY-HALF Tom Heathcote is among 15 first-team players who will be leaving Worcester Warriors this summer.

Hooker Kurt Haupt and scrum-half Grayson Hart depart after coming to the end of their short-term deals while on-loan stand-off Dorian Jones returns to Dragons.

The other 11 departures including Leicester Tigers-bound duo David Denton and Will Spencer have already been confirmed by the club.

All of the departing players' contracts finished at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons said: “I’d like to go on record and thank the following players for their efforts at the club and wish them the best of the luck in their future endeavours.”

Heathcote made 34 appearances for Warriors after making the move from Edinburgh in the summer of 2015.

He memorably landed a last-gasp drop goal to give Worcester a dramatic victory over Northampton Saints in his first game for the club.

But the 26-year-old has suffered a succession of blows to the head over the past 18 months and spent much of that time recovering from concussion.

There was hope Heathcote might secure a new contract at Warriors after returning to training.

But with Duncan Weir and Jono Lance arriving ahead of the 2018-19 campaign to boost the fly-half department Heathcote has gone through the exit door at Sixways,
