Win Worcester Warriors Aviva Premiership Match Tickets

Army of over 4,000 fans will follow Warriors to Wembley

AN army of Warriors fans are preparing to descend on the capital as Worcester return to Guinness Premiership action by taking on high-flying Saracens at Wembley on Saturday (3pm).

The Sixways club have already sold all their allocation of more than 4,000 tickets for the high-profile game.

It was announced last week that all travel deals have also sold out with 30 coaches filled, which means more than 1,500 fans will be heading for London from Sixways in a blue and gold convoy.

The match was switched to the national football stadium as part of Saracens’ drive to increase their appeal and boost their fan-base and a crowd of 40,000 is anticipated.

Warriors supporters can still get their hands on tickets, though, by calling the Saracens box office on 01727-792800 or 0844-8472482. The prices for the game, which includes pre-match entertainment from major musical acts The Saturdays and Chipmunk, are £10 for adults and £5 for juniors.

Tickets will also be available on the day of the game, but queues are expected and Worcester fans will not be guaranteed a set near other Warriors fans.

4000 going, 1500 on club buses, leaving 2500 making there own way, most of which will probably go by train...wonder if the train companies have taken this into consideration? Chaos at the stations me thinks.

Hardly..thousands make weekend trips to London for various sporting events every week. The addition of 2,500 warriors supporters, some of whom will not get the train will not even be noticed - business as usual I think

As someone travelling to the match by train I hope you're right Yeller. I mean't the 2 Worcester stations though, not any of the others on route. I still think there could be a bit of chaos on the platforms come Saturday morning....if the game isn't snowed off, of course!
