A LATE try by former Warriors academy player Tim Streather that was converted by James Arlidge saw Nottingham snatch a losing bonus point from this Championship play-off pool 'A' clash.

Miles Benjamin bagged another try to keep Worcester ahead, but a lacklustre display - disrupted by several injuries - saw Richard Hill's men miss out on a third successive try-bonus point victory.

WARRIORS lead at the interval, but have been hit by a brace of injuries as captain Chris Pennell and flanker James Collins have been taken off.

Pennell suffered a rib cartilage injury and was replaced by Joe Carlisle, but Collins had to be stretchered off with his neck in a brace and an oxygen mask on after taking a stray knee to the face.

Tries from Marcel Garvey and Chris Fortey, as well as one conversion and a penalty from Andy Goode have put Worcester ahead.

Nottingham have just two James Arlidge penalties to show for their efforts.

Powerhouse prop Tevita Taumoepeau will play his 150th game for Warriors as head coach Richard Hill makes three changes to the starting line-up that defeated London Welsh last weekend.

Hill calls-up loosehead prop Adam Black and vastly experienced hooker Chris Fortey to join Taumoepeau in the front row for the game at Meadow Lane.

Scotland international Alex Grove will also start his first game in the play-offs as he partners Alex Crockett in midfield. Crockett moves to inside centre, while Dale Rasmussen will provide firepower from the replacements bench.
