FLANKER Mat Gilbert believes Worcester Cavaliers can tame Saracens Storm’s ‘wolf-pack’ to lift the Aviva A-League crown for the first time at Sixways next Monday (7.30pm).

Worcester Warriors’ second string booked their place in the final after defeating defending champions Bath United 37-26 in front of around 2,000 fans on Monday.

Gilbert was among the try-scorers and says the Sixways crowd can play a huge part in next week’s showpiece.

“The crowd were superb and a lot of the lads took to Twitter to thank the supporters and, hopefully, more will cheer us on in the final.”

Gilbert added: “Saracens’ first-team game is based on their wolf-pack defence and, hopefully, we will be able to breach that.”

Warriors are opening only the East Stand for the final and supporters can watch the action for free.

But all supporters need a ticket to enter the stadium and are asked to make a donation of £2 towards the Warriors Community Foundation.

Parking at Sixways will be available for £5 and can be bought from the box office before 5pm on Friday. Parking will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
